Standing with strength
Stress puts a tremendous strain on our body and can cause all sorts of issues. Stress from trauma can put a strain on your body that can cause you to not want to move or do much of anything. It’s almost like your energy is completely zapped. Part of what we have learned is to practice each day standing strong. It does not necessarily mean that in every instance or every situation that you will be able to be strong, but your body may not need as much recovery time.
Lord, today we thank you for being there in our times of weakness, we thank you for being there in our times of pain, but most especially we thank you for the reminder that our strength comes from you. As we practice each day to see ourselves as strong, we are also reminded to keep our eyes on You, our true source of strength. Where we see our body or our energy zapped Lord, we ask you to provide us with the rest and recovery that we need. We also ask you to bring us someone who can listen and provide us with the wisdom and guidance we need to heal and find peace, trust, strength and discipline in our lives everyday.
Stand here in your strength for a moment. Set your eyes on God:
Ask Him to show you where your strengths lay: ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Then ask Him to show you how you can cultivate and grow your strengths:
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Then thank Him for providing you with these gifts in your life. SMILE! Then step into the rest of your day with strength.
Y’all have a beautiful day!
All My Love,
Jen
