Walking with Trust.
Yesterday we took our first steps forward in walking with trust. PTSD does not go away on its own. It can get better for a time, but true and consistent healing can only come with the right tools and resources in place. It can only come when our heart and mind truly change and our trust is completely restored.
So, today Lord we pray for all of those people and families where trust has been broken and fear and anxiety have set in because of post-traumatic stress. We pray to the Lord, that where there is brokenness and a feeling of fear, lack, or frustration have crept in that the cycle be broken. Lord, we thank you for the counselors, doctors, spiritual advisors and others who are able to minister to our spirit and offer a healing we never dreamed possible. Lord, we thank you for the continued steps that we have been able to take in our walk with trust.
Consider taking a moment to pause here with our Lord:
Where in your life have you noticed God ministering to your spirit?

Where in your life has your trust in yourself, in someone else, or a situation been compromised?

Ask God to cover the compromise with His grace and mercy.

Then grab a hot beverage and hold it close to your heart. Feel the warmth surrounding you. Breathe in deeply. Let a peaceful smile touch your lips. Close your eyes and let God do His work. Then head into your day walking with trust.
Y’all have a beautiful day!
All My Love,
Jen
