Smiling is pretty important because it lets people know that you care, it helps you to be more approachable, warm, and welcoming. Smiling also helps you to feel good. When you feel good you look good. And, who doesn’t want to look good?
It also helps you to release your burdens and breathe easier, reducing your blood pressure and in turn reducing the stress that you carry in your body. Carrying less stress would be great, wouldn’t it?
In addition, smiling also helps to take you from a tight, stressful situation into a light hearted, beautiful moment that you can carry with you and share with others through the day. Who doesn’t like sharing with others? Unless it’s pecan pie – then you will probably need to get your own.
Finally, it helps you to shed some tears when you recall a memory that was maybe not so happy – but eventually provided you with hope and showed you that even through the tears you can still find joy.
Take time today to enjoy a SMILE!
Simple.Moments.Inspire.Loving.Encouragement.
Watch a ladybug gently make its way up a blade of grass.
Listen to the pitter patter of tiny feet across the floor.
Tuck the littles into bed at night.
Watch a songbird arch its back and belt out a tune in earnest.
See a young couple squat down with open arms to embrace their young.
Watch a Mama duck cross the street with her ducklings in tow.
These are the moments that cost nothing, but a pause in time to breathe in and notice the world around you. These are the moments that inspire love and encouragement again and again. Embrace them. Slow down. Breathe them in. and SMILE!
Heavenly Father, thank you for providing us with simple joys in life. Thank you for helping us to slow down and embrace the love and encouragement. Thank you Lord, most especially for our SMILE. Have a beautiful day, God. Thank you for all the gifts that you have given to us. We are forever yours. Amen.
Thank you so much for joining us in prayer. Ya’ll have a beautiful day!
All My Love,
Jen
