Lean Into PTSD - Day 29 of Prayer

For all of our lives we are provided specific gifts to develop and share with others. While it would be wonderful if God provided a tag at our birth that said “gifted in…” it all remains a mystery. With faith, strength, healing, and God's love, we can trust that His purpose and timing will bring us closer to our true gifts and lead us to opportunities to use them.

God does not place gifts within us to allow them to lay dormant, but sometimes in order to find or use one gift another gift has to be developed. The good news is He gives us the courage and confidence to pursue new opportunities and reach even greater heights.

As you nourish your soul you will also notice that you will begin to live and love differently. You will notice gifts that you had not seen before. You might begin to see how your gifts compliment others' gifts. As a result, you might find yourself feeling more connected to those around you, and more likely to appreciate the gifts they bring to the table. This is because when you focus on the relationships in your life, you will become more aware of the unique qualities that each person brings to your life, and how those qualities can help you learn and grow. This shift in focus will help you to appreciate life's most important gifts.

The little frustrations that once seemed to be important no longer matter. The things that you once held so near and dear, really are not that important anymore. Only nurturing the relationships in your life truly matters. Your combined gifts create an environment that is more harmonious and celebratory. You recognize and value one another. Laughter envelopes you more frequently. A smile escapes more often. Together, you experience life's precious moments with more joy, laughter, and appreciation.

And, soon you come to realize that the greatest of gifts is that of God’s love and your time together.

Heavenly Father, thank you so much for working to develop so many gifts in us. Thank you for helping us to know, love, and serve you all the days of our lives, but mostly Lord, thank you for the beautiful people that you have chosen for us to walk with each day. Lord, help us bring a smile to the face of each person that we meet. Help us to allow laughter to escape more frequently as we enjoy our time with one another and with You. Thank you for all the gifts that you have given to us. We are forever yours. Amen.

Thank you so much for joining us in prayer.

Ya’ll have a beautiful day! ☀️🌈

All My Love,

Jen
